Barry Bloomfield (Design Director) - Barry creates brand platforms that provide the graphic foundation for communications. He holds a Masters Degree in Design from the Royal College of Art in London. Barry’s branding and design experience is substantial. He initially trained under the guiding eye of Terence Conran.
Since moving to New Zealand in 1998, Barry has worked with companies including Lion Nathan, Merck, Sharp & Dohme, Gravity Coffee, Firstland Wines, Hansells, Fletcher Challenge, SC Johnson, Carter Holt Harvey and many more.
Scott Espie (Studio Manager) - Scott has worked as an Artworker and Graphic Designer for 10 years.
Scott worked for Avanti Bicycles in Auckland, Emperor Design in London, and spent several years freelancing before joining Traffic where he oversees the delivery of artwork.
Scott believes that design should create collateral that is clear, concise and easy to use.
Gareth Poley (Advertising Creative) - Gareth's experience in the advertising and design industry began in South Africa before he migrated to New Zealand and joined the Brand Architects team early in 2008.
At Brand Architects, Gareth's role as Advertising Creative sees him involved at various stages of projects from the initial creative concepts through to the design development, artwork and production with specific responsibilities in concept development.
Gareth has worked with a wide range of clients - both in New Zealand and South Africa, including successful global brands such as Kia motors, Unilever, New Zealand Steel, Rinnai and Ramset.
Kylie Shirtliff (Designer and Account Manager) - With a background in the design industry, Kylie has the knowledge and expertise needed for her role as account manager.
Kylie completed a bachelor of design at Massey University, worked in her own business then went on to work for a couple of New Zealand design agencies.
Kylie has an excellent aptitude for delivering projects to clients from inception to final output, with the ability to liaise and communicate to clients effectively.
